Student Microscope (Basic) DM-5

Product Description

A high-eye point lenses 10x and 20 x magnification, which can be comfortably used by spectacle wearers, are mounted on a jointed arm allowing the whole stage area to be scanned. The wide glass stage has two spring clips and a reversible sub stage mirror/opal face illumination giving good lighting of objects in daylight or under artificial light. The rack and pinion mechanism is enclosed within the stage support pillar and operated by a knob on either side of the pinion spindle. The dissecting microscopes below can all be used for science dissection projects, viewing printed circuit boards, or quality inspection tasks. Each dissection microscope (not including the handheld microscope) has both a top light and a bottom light, each of which can be used independently of the other. Most often, the top light is used while dissecting. The digital dissection microscope allows you to view a live image on your computer screen or on the included tablet while dissecting your specimen. This is quite helpful in the classroom setting, where more than one student can gather around the computer monitor or the tablet LCD microscope. Additionally, in a quality control setting a digital tablet microscope can reduce a lot of time spent looking through the eyepieces that sometimes results in eye strain. Detachable rests on either side of the stage provide a steadying support for hands during fine dissection.
