The ESAW Linear Expansion Apparatus is designed for precise measurement of the coefficient of linear expansion of metals. Built for accuracy and durability, it features a metal rod enclosed in a nickel-plated brass steam jacket with three tubules for steam inlet, steam outlet, and thermometer placement.
The rod is supported by detachable conical cups and heated by steam, ensuring controlled conditions. A micrometer screw with 0.01 mm resolution enables fine measurement of expansion, while the heavy-gauge channel base with adjustable screw provides stability.
Supplied with copper, brass, and iron rods (500 mm × 4.5 mm), this apparatus is trusted by schools, universities, research centers, and laboratories worldwide. (Thermometer not included, available separately.)
