The swing-out rotor keeps the tubes horizontal during centrifugation. This ensures the separated components (like the blood pellet) form a **flat, distinct band** at the bottom of the tube, which is essential for accurate visual and automated analysis.
It is excellent for general clinical and preparatory research work. However, high-end research (e.g., cell fractionation) often requires ultra-centrifuges with vacuum systems and precise temperature control, which this model does not typically include.
RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) is the motor speed, but **RCF is the critical factor** for separation effectiveness. Clinical standards specify the required RCF.
